Shibori is a time-honored Japanese technique used to create texture and design in feltable textiles.
In this unique felted scarf, yak silk roving was carefully layered to form the scarf shape, then embellished with curly Mohair, metallic strands, and alpaca fiber. The shapes were made using resists to create the design, then felted to retain their character.
