Shibori is an ancient Japanese technique used to alter flat textile surfaces. In these scarves, using resists of different shapes, silk chiffon is shaped to form "bubbles", each work resulting in a uniquely original design.
These lightly floating wraps are absolutely ethereal wraps, particularly for special events - outdoor weddings or concerts in summer, elegant evening events.
One recent outdoor mountain wedding elegantly outfitted the bride in a long white wrap, with her bridesmaid attendants in softly flattering shoulder wraps. All made to order.
Each is individually hand-dyed and constructed.
